On the coldest day of the year, Phi Eta Omega helped Scotch Plains residents unplug with a day of mindfulness at the historic Shady Rest Country Club. Twenty-five people, including Margaret C. Heisey, QPA, Deputy Municipal Manager, Assemblywoman Linda Carter, Councilwoman Elizabeth Stamler, Phi Eta Omega members and area residents turned off their phones for a day of yoga, games, health snacks and relaxation.

During our 2023 MLK Day of Service, we were honored with a Joint Legislative Resolution from the NJ Senate and General Assembly presented by Assemblywoman Linda Carter for our work in Scotch Plains, Union County and the Garden State in 2022. Scotch Plains @scotchplains Councilwoman Elizabeth Stamler was also on hand for the presentation during our Dignity Drive in which we collected feminine hygiene products for women in need across Union County. Thank you Assemblywoman Carter and Scotch Plains Councilwoman Stamler for volunteering with us today and for this amazing recognition.
